StepStream provides software, tools and solutions facilitating the integration of systems.

Tech Line

StepStream IS

StepStream IS (Integration Server) is a message oriented middleware (MOM). It relieves developers from technical issues and helps to focus on business requirements by providing support for:

• Transportation and routing of data
• Mapping between different data representations
• Various protocols, data formats and APIs
• Monitoring and tracing of data flows, as well as error handling and recovery
• Scalability and extensibility

Tools

The Tools branche is an evolving series of utilities derived from StepStream IS. The power of these tools will successively made available standalone to developers.

Financial Solutions

To make a technical infrastructure a business solution, adding technical adapters or supporting APIs of financial systems is not sufficient. Thus, StepStream IS is enriched with financial business related knowledge.

StepStream FIH

Based on StepStream IS, StepStream FIH (Financial Integration Hub) additionally provides:

• Financial Repository - format definitions, functional building blocks, mapping rules
• Financial Process support - extraction of erroneous data for analysis and redoing
• Financial Adapters - a set of ready to use adapters to financial systems

P2P Solutions

Financial P2P Solutions (Point-to-Point) reduce the functionality of StepStream FIH to the requirements of bilateral communication. Therefor 2 adapters are plugged together via StepStream's mapping-engine.

Note: P2P Solutions can easily be upgraded to Integration Hubs, if business needs change.

Financial Adapters

Financial Adapters are either adapters from well known systems (System Adapters) or adapters to proprietary datafeeds of data suppliers (Supplier Adapters). They import or export data to financial business systems, and differ from technical adapters or APIs by:

• Defined business data structures and data types
• Business logic
• Mappings to StepStream's Financial Repository

Consulting companies and developers are welcome to create software upon StepStream tools - either by creating addons or by using StepStream in an embedded manner. Contact us for help and more information.

Information Broking

• QueryGrid by IT-Insourcing is a Realtime Data Integration solution
